This week our VisitEngland business events team (MeetEngland) are leading a trade mission in the West Coast of the United States. Led by our North American business events lead Leila Heller, the group will consist of English DMOs and city convention bureaus: Birmingham and West Midlands Convention Bureau, London Convention Bureau, Manchester Convention Bureau, Liverpool Convention Bureau, Meet Bristol and Bath. Our presentations focus on our key sector alignments with the West Coast US; notably the tech industry, alongside some strong incentive and event programme ideas to inspire future bookings.
The trade mission commences in Orange County and Los Angeles with evening events joined by corporate, incentive and association buyers. The team will then head to San Francisco for sales calls followed by a final evening event. In total, our cities will meet with over 45 business event agencies, corporate and event planners and international associations.
