  • Of all the airlines to operate the Singapore to Britain route in 2023, Singapore Airlines served the most departing seats with a share of 63%.

  • As of 2023, Singapore Changi airport has links with four British airports: Birmingham International, London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester International.

  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic led to a 66% reduction in direct seat capacity from Singapore to the UK in 2020. 2021 was 71% behind pre-COVID levels and 2022 was 37% behind pre-COVID levels.

  • In 2023, direct seat capacity from Singapore to the UK is set to recover to 91% of pre-pandemic (2019) capacity.
