Explore the quarterly and annual inbound tourism data by market from the International Passenger Survey using the interactive visualisations on this page.

Notes

Please note data for 2023 is the first three quarters only (Jan-Sep). The 2023 data is provisional and will be revised when the full year of data is released.

The ‘Total UK’ overall spend, spend per visit and spend per night on dashboard 3 and 4 are slightly different to the true figures so please use the dashboard 1 to look at spend at the Total UK level (navigate to page 1 using the arrows at the bottom of this dashboard). 

Tips for navigation:

• View both the annual and quarterly data by switching between the tabs.
• Use the filters to select different criteria, and toggle the timeline bar to change the year that you want to view.
• You can select the measure (visits, nights or spend) that you want to examine at the top left, underneath the stats cards.
• To reset the visualisation, click the eraser icon on the top right.
• If the sample size for your selection is too low, a warning will pop up at the bottom right of the screen.
• To close the visualisation use the cross in the top right corner.
