- In 2024, the only direct route from Malaysia to the UK was from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) airport to London Heathrow (LHR), served by Malaysia Airlines. In April 2025, British Airways resumed flights to Kuala Lumpur for the first time in five years.
- Seat capacity on non-stop flights had recovered to 71% of pre-pandemic (2019) levels in 2024.
