His win was revealed in Saturday's Mirror newspaper, our competition partner, at the end of a very successful English Tourism Week.
The long-running Tourism Superstar competition celebrates those working in tourism who have gone the extra mile to make visitors feel welcome. Nominated by their peers or local DMO, the competition has traditionally focused on one individual, however this year it was opened up to include small teams of up to 10 people, to recognise the hard work teams have also played in keeping businesses open and safe for visitors in between lockdowns.
Congratulations to George, and to our runners up, Dorian Deathly of the Deathly Dark Tours of York (2nd place) and The Story of London team, London Walks (3rd place).
