  • Since 2009, there has been a 51% increase in weekly seat capacity from Israel to Britain.

  • In 2023, the highest share of departing seats are set to come from the Tel Aviv to London Heathrow route, with a 56% share.

  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic led to a 64% reduction in direct seat capacity from Israel to the UK in 2020.

  • Direct seat capacity in 2021 was 63% behind pre-COVID levels and in 2022 13% behind.

  • In 2023, seat capacity for the full year is set to exceed pre-COVID (2019) levels by 17%.

  • The current reduced rate of Air Passenger Duty for visitors departing Britain for Israel is £87.
