Meet French and Dutch tour operators and travel agencies specialising in FIT and leisure group travel. Buyers are pre-selected by VisitBritain’s in-market teams based on their ability to bring international visitors to the UK, their previous engagement with VisitBritain activity, and their interest in discovering new experiences, regions and partners for their programmes.

For French and Dutch buyers

Meet UK destinations, bookable products and experiences that are travel trade-ready and relevant to French and Dutch B2B markets. Suppliers will be selected in collaboration with UK nations and regions and will share the latest market-ready offers for your clients.

Why target the French and Dutch markets?

France

France is Great Britain’s second-largest inbound visitor market by volume and the third-largest by visitor spending, making it one of the UK’s most valuable international tourism markets. French visitors travel throughout the year, with demand spread relatively evenly across all four seasons, creating opportunities for year-round business.

French travellers are looking beyond London and increasingly seek authentic experiences, nature, heritage, gastronomy and multi-night itineraries across Britain. They are also frequent repeat visitors, making them more likely to explore new regions and products.

Netherlands

The Netherlands is a top-10 incoming market for both volume and spend. Great accessibility to all parts of the UK and the lack of a language barrier means the Dutch visit the whole country in all seasons, guaranteeing superb regional and seasonal spread.

Key interests for visitors from The Netherlands are nature, culture, heritage, food & drink and meeting the locals. They are adventurous in there choice of destination and as many Dutch visitors are repeat visitors there’s a great chance of them trying new places and experiences.
