International Communications Manager / BTA/1204

Context

We are currently seeking an International Comms Manager to join the VisitBritain central team, in a permanent role.

Main purpose of the role

Working with the Senior International Communications Manager and international communications team to support our comms activity across 22 global markets. The central team is part of a wider earned/owned team comprised of our central social and editorial content team. All teams have a remit to work in an integrated manner to maximize exposure across channels.

The role would include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with a network of external suppliers, ranging from PR agencies to individual accommodation/experience partners, and destination management organisations in order to uncover stories and unlock news ahead of release – contributing to the global storytelling framework.
  • Monitoring ‘What’s New in Britain’ and providing weekly trends notes to overseas markets and sharing opportunities to newsjack topical subjects within the central PR/Social/Content team.
  • Writing media pitches, drafting itineraries and creating supporting PR against the storytelling framework to support markets

Assisting the Senior Manager with Global PR Evaluation, ensuring markets are on target in meeting key metrics supporting corporate KPIs.

Senior Internal Communications Manager / BTA/1199

  • Working in the Communications and Events Team to support the Transformation and Organisational Design project teams, this role is responsible for developing and delivering our internal communications plan for our Building our Future Programme and Organisational Design.  We are looking for an internal communications specialist, with significant experience in change programmes, using innovative approaches. Experience and evidence re exciting and engaging an organisation across transformation and OD.
     
  • Evidence of using innovative approach to internal comms.
     
  • Track record in developing and delivering a creative, engaging and motivating communications plan and campaign to engage and enthuse and foster behavioural change. Digital Asset Executive / BTA/1185

The Marketing Manager will play a lead role in the successful delivery of international consumer marketing activity for VisitBritain through the delivery of the GREAT Britain tourism campaign.

You will be responsible for taking international marketing strategies and plans and working with team(s) to develop these into successful end-to-end integrated solus and partnership campaigns. You will ensure activity is audience-first, using data to guide campaign creative development and choice of media and communication channels, and will ensure clear KPIs are set and activity is measured, optimised and evaluated.
