Intro
Integral to our global strategy is working co-operatively with key industry partners including airlines, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), destination management companies (DMCs) and destinations. We collaborate with local, regional and global organisations, focusing on our target consumers and trade across a number of international markets. In each of our key markets, we target a specific consumer segment or segments which represents the best prospect for achieving our goals.
A number of opportunities exist each year across a variety of campaigns and markets in which we seek industry partners. If you would like to partner with us, and in turn be eligible to respond to those opportunities, please register through our Atamis eSourcing platform.

Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) – Commercial Partnerships and Related Opportunities
The DPS
Tender reference: BTA1993
The British Tourist Authority t/a VisitBritain/VisitEngland (DPS Authority) has established a DPS for Commercial Partnership and Related Opportunities. These commercial partnerships between us and third party suppliers (or partners) are created for mutual benefit. In these commercial partnerships, the association of both brands generates a specific financial, or other advantage, which is applied for the benefit of both parties.
In some cases, we will match the investment provided by the third party supplier (partner) to enhance the scope of the commercial arrangement, which results in added value benefits for all.
The DPS is a completely electronic system and has been divided into the following lots:
- Lot 1 – Carriers (airlines, ferries, trains, roads);
- Lot 2 - Intermediaries (OTAs, metasearch, tour operators & wholesalers);
- Lot 3 – Accommodation;
- Lot 4 - Product (attractions, experiences, airports);
- Lot 5 – Brands;
- Lot 6 – Inbound operators and/or destination management companies (DMCs).
Lot 6 Services are considered to be ‘Related Services’ for Commercial Partnerships and as such, these services are not subject to matched investment requirements.
The DPS is now open for requests to participate and it will be open for a period of up to two (2) years until its closure on 10 September 2025.
Suppliers (or partners) can register their interest for inclusion on all or any of the above Lots.
How to apply
Suppliers (or partners) can join the DPS at any time up to the DPS closure date.
To participate and join the DPS, suppliers (or partners) must complete and submit the online Selection Questionnaire (SQ), together with answering and submitting the Lot specific question(s) they are interested in bidding for.
Suppliers (or partners) can register for inclusion onto the DPS by:
- Accessing the online SQ and answering all of the questions therein. SQs can only be submitted once the completion status is shown at 100%.
- Accessing and completing the online Lot specific questions.
Only those suppliers (or partners) that successfully meet the requirements of the online SQ will be eligible for appointment onto the DPS. Appointed suppliers (or partners) will be issued with the relevant DPS documentation for signature upon confirmation of their appointment.
Suppliers (or partners) appointed to the DPS are appointed on a non-exclusive basis. Where applicable, we will call off the required services under the relevant Lot following a further competition process.
All submissions must be made online via the Atamis eSourcing portal.
Further information
The estimated total contract value of the DPS across all Lots is £16,800,000. This figure includes assumed matched funding from partners for Lots 1 – 5. Further information about the DPS can be found in the Invitation to participate document below.
