Winner of Tourism Superstar 2023 announced

We are pleased to announce that Geoff Colvin is the winner of VisitEngland’s Tourism Superstar 2023 competition. Geoff is the Volunteer Chief Stationmaster at the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

From a shortlist of ten national finalists, Geoff received the most votes from the general public and readers of The Mirror.

The Tourism Superstar award is run in partnership with the Mirror, and the winner was announced in Saturday’s Mirror [March 25] newspaper during English Tourism Week.

Second place was awarded to Luke Henshaw, Classic Vehicle Restoration Apprentice at the Great British Car Journey, Peak District and Derbyshire.

Third place was awarded to Dave Paynter, Reserve Manager at Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Cotswolds.

Congratulations to Geoff, Luke, Dave and the other finalists and nominees – and many thanks to everyone who took part and voted!
