Using our 2014 surveys, we've produced topic papers on three demographic groups: millennials, families and over 55s. 

  • Millennials: Get an overview of domestic tourism trends for the millennial generation (16-35 year olds) in 2014, as well as a breakdown of their top activities, regions and destinations in the Millennials report (PDF, 404KB).
  • Families: In 2014, families took 30.2 million domestic overnight trips in England, 33% of the total, and spent £5.1 billion. Get a breakdown of their most popular activities, regions and booking behaviours in the Families and Domestic Tourism report (PDF, 458KB).

Using 2014 and 2015 data, we've produced topic papers on regional trip-taking. The origin and destination paper is based on our 2014 data whereas the regional topic papers use our 2015 data.
