Responsible for the successful delivery of on-boarding SME suppliers onto a newly procured travel exchange technology platform via integration with relevant connected booking systems.
The Technical Project Manager will follow a three-phased approach for on-boarding SME suppliers;
- Training: ensuring SME suppliers are fully briefed on the ambition of the travel exchange technology platform.
- Technical requirements: evaluation of SME suppliers online booking capabilities.
- Integration: facilitating the successful integration of SME suppliers onto the travel exchange platform.
The Technical Project Manager will be the key interface with the travel exchange platform provider. Ensuring appropriate planning, control and monitoring are in place to enable the timely delivery of a quality outcome, whilst working in an agile environment. This will be achieved through the use of the organisation's Project Delivery Approach and coordination and collaboration with the relevant internal teams and external suppliers (Destination Management Organisations – DMOs and individual tourism suppliers) and stakeholders. This role will also have specific responsibility for delivering outcomes to support the Discover England Fund.
