The Northern Powerhouse and its implications and opportunities for tourism

What is it?

The Northern Powerhouse and its implications and opportunities for tourism is a tourism development conference organised by The Tourism Society.

Government has recognised that tourism is a key driver of economic growth and new jobs. Recently it has announced a number of policy decisions that could have a significant impact on tourism growth in coming years, particularly in the north of England.

Speakers will examine the possible implications of Government policy from a variety of perspectives, and identify the opportunities that are likely to arise for tourism operators, investors, marketers and consultants.
