The digital team sits within the global marketing team but also works across all divisions and markets of BTA. The digital team are responsible for maintaining our existing digital estate and channels such as email and SEO, including working with various other teams domestically and internationally to ensure we maintain required standards, comply with legislation, ensure platforms are secure and enable us to continue to service our audiences and support our marketing and communications activities.
Main purpose of the role
The role acts as Senior Responsible Owner for the DCXP programme. This involves overseeing the programme and delivering the change required to ensure benefits are realised, including technology changes such as the implementation of the new CMS and DAM, an improved UX on all VB/VE front end websites and champion adoption to new to processes and ways of working. The role holder will need to work closely with the Lead Product Owner and Digital Programme Manager, together with a range of stakeholders and project team members, internal and external partners to successfully deliver the programme.
In parallel the Head of Digital is responsible for our existing digital estate and channels. For the initial 6 – 9 months in post the Head of Digital will have the support of an interim HOD who will lead the BAU and manage these team members to ensure the Head of Digital is fully dedicated to leading the DCXP programme.
