The Country Manager for GCC will ensure VisitBritain’s strategy is implemented in the markets and will run VisitBritain’s operations efficiently and cost-effectively.cs
As a Country Manager, we would be looking for a communicative leader and market expert, who is an organized professional with multi-tasking abilities. The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge of the local travel landscape with a wide-ranging and well-established network of contacts. You must be confident in public speaking and have strong project management skills to plan, design and deliver the GCC Business plan maximising VB’s marketing channels and tools to our desired audience. This role will manage a team of 4 staff. Extensive management experience is required, preferably in a tourism or a related industry, with a proven track record or successfully leading teams to achieve targets and objectives.
Main purpose of the role
- To design, manage and implement VisitBritain’s strategy in the market/region, running VisitBritain’s operations efficiently and cost-effectively, and ensuring activity is integrated across all channels alongside other UK government partners.
- To deliver and manage multi marketing disciplines with digital expertise, and leverage those channels & platforms to enhance activity and get relevant content to the customer. To effectively influence internal & external stakeholders at all decision-making levels ensuing a Global perspective.
