The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is the national tourism agency and an accredited non-departmental public body (NDPB) funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), and trades under the name of VisitBritain/VisitEngland (VB/VE). The Digital Team are leading the Digital Customer Experience Project (DCXP) as part of our corporate priority to deliver digital transformation. This project will deliver a new digital estate to improve the experience we deliver to customers via our digital channels, and meet expectations users today have when engaging with modern brands. DCXP will deliver new websites for the organisation, alongside an underpinning integrated technology platform, new ways of working and processes, and set us up to enable future innovation.
The existing Senior Digital Product Manager is the Lead Product Owner and Deputy SRO on DCXP. We need an additional Senior Digital Product Manager to provide product management support. The role will report into the Head of Digital, and work with teams across the organisation and incumbent suppliers to maintain and optimise existing websites as we develop our new digital estate via DCXP.
Main purpose of the role:
- Management of work related to our existing digital platforms: websites, CMS and DAM.
- Line management.
- Contract management (including procurement).
- Supplier management.
- Project management.
