The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is the national tourism agency and a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), and trades under the name of VisitBritain/VisitEngland (VB/VE).

The British Tourist Authority (BTA) is a global organisation with 290+ people based in 18 different countries and this role will establish and develop key stakeholder relationships across this network.

The BTA plays a unique role in building England’s tourism product, raising Britain’s profile worldwide, increasing the volume and value of tourism exports and developing Britain’s visitor economy. Main purpose of the role:

The post holder will be responsible to support the delivery of a coordinated and integrated internal and external communications strategy through a range of communications tools and processes with specific responsibility for corporate content planning, writing and execution, event planning and management and contact/database management.
