Nigel Huddleston MP appointed as new Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Sport, Tourism and Heritage

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has announced Nigel Huddleston MP as the new Minister for Tourism, replacing Helen Whately MP as the new Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Sport, Tourism and Heritage.

Nigel Huddleston MP has been the MP for Mid Worcestershire since 2015. 

He took up his new post as Tourism Minister on 14 February 2020, succeeding Helen Whately MP. 

His new remit includes:

  • Sport
  • Commonwealth Games
  • Gambling and Lotteries
  • Tourism and Heritage
  • Lead Secondary Legislation Minister (including EU Exit SIs)
