Following an independent review last year, we are working on new accessible tourism initiatives in support of the ambition for the UK to become the most accessible tourism destination in Europe.
As part of these changes, the National Accessible Scheme is now closed to new applicants, in line with the review’s recommendations.
New initiatives include enhancing Accessibility Guides, the production of Accessible Tourism Toolkits and an Accessibility Features Question Set.
