Previously she was Minister of State for Higher and Further Education from 15 September 2021 to July 2022, and has been the MP for Chippenham in Wiltshire since 2015.
Prior to this she was Minister for Universities at the Department for Education from 13 February 2020 and Government Whip (Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury) from 29 July 2019 to 13 February 2020.
She was also an unpaid Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Education covering the maternity leave of Kemi Badenoch MP from 4 September 2019 to 13 February.
