On 21 February we co-hosted the All-Party Parliamentary China Group (APPCG) Chinese New Year reception to highlight the importance of tourism from China to MPs and Lords.
On 1 February we launched a new marketing campaign in China to boost tourism to Britain.
Britain could expect a boost in visitors from China as Chinese New Year gets underway from this Saturday 28 January.
The event highlighted how Britain’s nations and regions will celebrate Chinese New Year and showcased new attractions and events launching throughout the Year of the Rooster.
VisitBritain is this week hosting its largest ever tourism mission to China, followed by its first trade event to South Korea in more than five years.
