Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017

Congratulations to the winners of the VisitBritain ‘Home of Amazing Moments’ photography category in this year’s Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards.

Commended awards go to Matt Cooper for his photo, “A windy day in Shoreditch” (below left), taken in London, and to Ian Day for “The fishing boat returns”, (second left) taken in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Highly commended awards go to Matt Cooper for “Brighton Pier from above at sunrise” (fourth left) taken in Sussex, and to Nadir Khan for his photo of “The Crossing”, (far right) taken at the Cairngorms, Scotland.

And the winner of the VisitBritain category is Graham Niven for his “Dawn Patrol” (below middle) at Loch Garten, also in Cairngorms, Scotland.

A free exhibition of all winning entries will be held at London Waterloo station from 20 November until 4 February 2018 before touring at stations nationwide.
