Ian Edwards appointed to represent Wales on the British Tourist Authority board

Lord Elis- Thomas, Minister for Culture Sport and Tourism for the National Assembly for Wales has appointed the CEO of the Celtic Manor Resort as the British
Tourist Authority Board's (BTA) newest member.

Ian Edwards has worked in hospitality and events for 30 years and is also CEO of the new International Conference Centre for Wales, which will open next year. He will represent Wales on the BTA board alongside attending the Welsh Government’s Tourism and Marketing Department’s internal Tourism Management Board meetings.
