Ian Edwards is Chief Executive of ICC Wales and the Celtic Manor Resort, where he leads a workforce of more than 1,000 people and has overseen a dramatic growth in occupancy, revenues and profitability since his return in 2008.

He headed up Celtic Manor’s delivery of two major global events – the 2010 Ryder Cup and the 2014 NATO Summit – and during his time at the helm, Celtic Manor has been voted the UK’s Best Hotel at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards for seven of the last eight years. Ian was named Hotelier of the Year at the 2015 European Hospitality Awards.
