As a brand partner, we are delighted to share with you Enjoy Summer Safely, the Government’s new campaign launching on 4 July, to encourage people to take advantage of the businesses that are opening up for the first time in more than three months, in particular hospitality. The campaign promotes this message by encouraging people to go back this summer to the things they have missed, as long as they follow the COVID-19 Secure guidelines wherever they are.
To help you welcome and reassure customers at this vital moment, we have been working with the Government on the tourism elements of the campaign and on a toolkit for your use.
This campaign integrates with our ongoing Know Before You Go reassurance campaign, that encourages consumers who are ready and willing to travel to understand that they need to check what is open and any restrictions that may be in place before they leave home.
You will be able to download the Enjoy Summer Safely logo for use across your own marketing activity, together with the combined Know Before You Go and Enjoy Summer Safely supporting toolkit from our website soon.
The campaign also complements the free UK-wide We’re Good To Go industry standard mark launched last week by VisitEngland in partnership with Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales. Tourism and hospitality businesses can use the mark to reassure consumers that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that they have the required safety, cleanliness and social distancing measures in place.
