What is it?

This workshop will offer an invaluable opportunity for attendees to share experience, advice and best practice with one another. You’ll explore themes on the evolution of associations as well as the importance of legacy and how this can be integrated into the process. The workshop will also discuss options for when a bid is lost and the role of collaboration between destinations and ‘buying’ events.

The workshop will be facilitated by Caroline Mackenzie, who has worked on a range of industry initiatives including being a APPGI contributor to the Competitiveness of the UK Events Industry as well as being on the steering groups for both The Meeting Show and Business Tourism for Scotland.
