We are delighted that Steve Ridgway CBE has agreed to have his term as Chairman of the BTA board extended for another three months, giving us continuity whilst we the navigate the challenges that COVID-19 is bringing us and our industry.
On the VisitEngland Advisory Board, Fiona Pollard will be stepping up as Interim Chair. Fiona has been a VEAB board member for two years and so is familiar with our England activity and English tourism landscape.
We shall be sorry to say goodbye to Denis Wormwell, whose last day with us is today (31 March). He will be stepping down after 11 years on the VisitEngland Advisory Board, having been chair for the past three years. We know you will join us in wishing him well for the future. He is still very active across the industry so I’m sure it won’t be long before we see him again.
