What is it?

Following the success of Social Travel Summit (STS) 2016 held by VisitBritain, in partnership with VisitScotland and Inverness, we will again be playing host to the conference in 2018.

The two-day event is a great opportunity to raise the profile of Britain with world-class travel influencers and industry leaders, so we would like to offer your location the opportunity to bid to host the conference. 

To enter, your location must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Venue suitable to host 150 people with accommodation on site
  • Easy access for international travellers
  • Budget to support hosting the conference (VisitBritain will also be contributing)
  • Also, tell us why 2018 is the year that the world should visit your destination.

Post-conference, we’ll also be running Britain-wide trips with a group of travel influencers themed around our new global marketing campaign – I Travel For. This will give you the opportunity to raise the profile of destination host and its partners with world-class travel influencers, through the creation of inspiring itineraries.
