Free listing on our consumer websites

Your business probably already receives a free listing on our consumer websites.  VisitBritain distributes details of your tourism business to a wide range of tourism and non-tourism channels to drive additional traffic to your website and help you reach new audiences.  The National Tourism Product Database (NTPD) holds 40,000 accommodation products, 13,000 attractions, 6,000 events and over 1,000 destination guides, which we distribute to the VisitBritain and EnjoyEngland family of websites and increasingly to third parties.   This is supplemented with a price comparison service available to accommodation providers.  The benefits include:

• Completion of one form means your business is distributed through local, regional, national and international tourism websites and third party sites

Your business is probably already part of the NTPD; if you run an accommodation business you receive a listing as part of your quality assessment (by either a national tourist board or the AA).  Attractions and events receive free listings.  If you run an accommodation business and want to provide your availability to VisitBritain’s websites, look for the ‘Availability’ opportunity.

Are you maximising your entry?  Check your listing on www.visitbritain.co.uk/accommodation, read through your editorial to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date, check you are providing multiple images and make sure your contact details are correct.  Your record is managed by VisitBritain's tourist board partners, to make any updates please view the list of data stewards in the related links on the left to find your destination contact.
