The Excel datasets below contain a wealth of detailed data for each year from 2000 onwards. Use the files to find out how many visitors came to the UK from overseas and analyse the data by the following variables: journey purpose, country of residence, nationality, age, gender, mode of travel, vehicle, duration of stay, and quarter of the year. Also see figures for independent and package travel.
As well as data for visits, you can also view data showing how many nights visitors spent in the UK, the amount they spent when in the UK, and average length of stay, average spend per night, and average spend per visit.
