Activities

Each year VisitBritain sponsors a question on the International Passenger Survey to understand what activities visitors from overseas actually did in the UK.  Download the detailed reports and Excel files below and download a pivot table guide, or take a look at the following:

For a discussion of activities, the October 2007, April 2009, September 2009 and September 2010 editions of Foresight took a look at different sets of activities undertaken in the UK by visitors from overseas.

Recent reporting includes articles within Foresight on visitors who go walking by the coast (July 2011) and who go to football matches (August 2011) whilst visiting Britain.

Each of VisitBritain's Market Profiles contains analysis and discussion of activities identified as attractive to visitors from each market.
