In the face of global economic challenges we need to keep one step ahead of the competition. That is why we encourage you to identify and develop your unique talent to meet the future needs of the organisation.
Our People & Performance department is charged with developing and maintaining a dynamic learning and organisational development programme which supports and allows you to achieve the organisation’s business goals whilst giving you a platform for your own personal development and allowing you to achieve your maximum potential. You will be given the opportunity to undergo continuous professional development and we will provide support for academic and professional qualifications.
Induction
We want you to feel welcome and supported whilst familiarising yourself with our business, which is why your induction lasts 6 months. During this time you will be given the opportunity to get to know your role, team, department and the whole business itself.
Performance Appraisals
April is appraisal time and you will be given the chance to define objectives for the coming financial year which will help you to be successful in your role, and to review your performance from the previous year, as well as identify any development opportunities. You may also take part in a 360 degree appraisal during the year.
However feedback is not only about appraisal time. We encourage continuous feedback during the year through one-to one meetings with your Manager or through informal chats.
Development workshops
You will be given the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills - from IT to leadership. Our workshops link to our business strategy and competency framework.
We also encourage ‘learning by doing’ through job-related, global project, or team activities, and we encourage cross-functional knowledge sharing.
Secondments
We encourage you to broaden your knowledge of the organisation through internal transfers. These may be to another job, team, department or even overseas.
